I thought it might be useful to outline the supplements that I am using to prepare for the triathlon. As I started this, I was extremely unfit and very over weight. So much so, that when I took a book out of the library to look at measuring my baseline fitness assessment, I couldn't do the exercise that they recommended becuase I was too unfit!
So, if like me, you are thinking about doing something, can I please recommend that you speak to somebody in the know about diet and supplementation, as this has really helped me.
The range of products that I am using is produced by a company called Melaleuca. If you would like more information, please feel free to ask me.
Before my exercise I am using what is called an Access Bar. These bars are used by Tammy Van Wisse, who is the World Record holder for swimming across the Channel, the Hudson River, and various other amazing feats that leave me wondering WHY?!
To rehydrate, I use the Lemon Sustain Drink. This has been clinically proven to be better than Powerade and many of the drinks like that, as it replenishes the four major electrolytes that the body depletes when working out.
Finally, for my day to day supplementation, I am using the Daily for Life for Men.
I guess when I first started this I was a little bit "suck it and see" however the more I am doing, the more I am enjoying this whole process. Bearing in mind I have really only just begun, I am quite excited!
The promise that was made to me when I looked at these products was "if you don't feel any benefit after 90 days you can return the empty bottles for a full refund". Their money is safe!
All I would say to you is that if you are looking to try some supplementation, these products are worth trying, with a full 90 day money back guarantee. Leave a comment for me with your contact details if you would like to find out how you can purchase them.
Sorry if that sounds like a sales pitch - I don't mean to be mercenary however this triathlon I think will cost me in the region of £700 and if, whilst helping other people improve their health, I can recoup some of that expense, I certainly shall!
